Children's Rack - Cost: $50/month (includes pricing and tagging).

• 30-35 pieces per rack.

You keep 80% off the profits as we will now be taking a 20% cut of all items sold.

• Social Media Highlight (add on): We will highlight 10 of (what we feel) are your best pieces on our @ittakesavillage instagram page to help promote the sale of your items in the form of a story sale.

• Clothes only please, with the exception of 2 pairs of shoes per rental rack as that is all that we have space for at this time.

• No baby "gear" (ie. strollers, carseat covers, play mats etc.).

• You may "split" a rack with a friend.

• Please only bring your initial 35 pieces.

• We will not store items to replenish your rack throughout the month.

• Should you choose to replenish your rack, you may do so on any day that we are open during your contract month.

Suggested Brands: Zara, H&M, Hanna Anderson, North Face, Oeuf, Genuine Vintage, Bonds, small shop, Gap, Hatley, M&S, Cat &Jack, Disney, Wheat Kids, Columbia, Kyte, any bamboo clothing.

Adult Rack -  Cost: $100/month (includes pricing and tagging).

• 20-25 pieces per rack.

You keep 80% off the profits as we will now be taking a 20% cut of all items sold.

• Social Media Highlight (add on): We will highlight 10 of (what we feel) are your best pieces on our @ittakesavillage instagram page to help promote the sale of your items in the form of a story sale.

• Clothes only please, with the exception of 2 pairs of shoes per rental rack as that is all that we have space for at this time.

• We will accept men's items.

• You may combine both Women's and Men's clothes on your rack.

• You may also "split" the rack with a friend.

• Please only bring your first 25 initial pieces.

• We will N O T store pieces to replenish your rack.

• We will reach out every Friday with an update of how many pieces you have sold and instructions on how, and when to replenish.

• If you choose to replenish, you may do so at any time that we are open during your contract month.

Suggested Brands: Vintage, H&M, Old Navy (at our discretion), Anthropologie, Small Shop, Zara, Jackson Rowe, Tony Chestnut etc.

Important Information:

*Bags should be brought in by the 15th of the month BEFORE your rental period to account for the time it takes to price, tag and display appropriately (ie. If your rental month is January, please bring your pieces in by December 15th).

*You have ONE WEEK past your rental month to pick up leftover items (if requested). Any later, your items will be donated unless previously discussed.

Please note:

• We reserve the right to decline items that are in poor condition, distasteful or do not fit with the shop's "aesthetic".

• All clothing MUST be freshly laundered, contain no pet hair, odours, stains, etc.

• During your rental period, you may replenish the rack as often as desired, when we have let you know that it is necessary.

• Your rental period will include one evening OR weekend pop up which you are welcome to attend to help sell your items. 

• It Takes a Village will send a document of sold items and fees, and payment will be made on the third day of the following month via e-transfer.

• Adult and children's racks may N O T be combined.

I understand the definitions, terms and conditions laid out before me. By purchasing a rent a rack option/s, I agree to follow all rules as stated in this document.

*It Takes a Village Shop is not responsible for any misplaced, damaged or stolen items during my Rent A Rack contract. Within 7 days of the last day that It Takes a Village Shop is open on my specified contract month, I agree to pick up any unsold items unless otherwise agreed upon.
